Here I experimented with the style of Anselm Kiefer. I enjoyed looking at his work as it taught me to think about applying paint in different ways. For example using a stick instead of a paintbrush (top right), painting with a rag (bottom left), and painting on top of photos (top left). This experimentation had a great impact on the rest of my work to date.
